Lockdown Tips: Happy herbs and juices are immunosuppressants

Bummer and a drag… well, skip the drag. Turns out all happy herbs are immunosuppressant as are all happy juices. You know the kinds I’m talking about (no not happy endings, geez). Oh and leave the happy talk to idiots – don’t think they like to be conceptually challenged… well, cause they likely are. But hey if you’re gonna drink at home. Here is my favorite.

Bacardi Gold Rum. Tried all the Rum’s and that is still the smoothest. The best part of rum? Hydrate while you drink it and there is magically no morning headache :). There are numerous websites touting the health benefits of rum – although you may be on guard in the case it was sponsored by a rum vendor. Bacardi Gold Rum, in particular, is manufactured in Puerto Rico, the original liquor invented by pirates and yes of the Caribbean.

I’m gonna skip medical links here cause if you’ve read this far, you likely don’t care the happy (fill in the blank… exempting ending) is an immunosuppressant. If anything save a small chunk of your liver to help fight off, oh I don’t know… maybe a virus. Enjoy a safe lockdown :).

However, all immunosuppressant drugs carry the serious risk of infection. When an immunosuppressant drug weakens your immune system, your body becomes less resistant to infection. That means they make you more likely to get infections. It also means that any infections get will be harder to treat.

About Immunosuppressant Drugs

As a 99.9% percent prevention vegan (0.1% is left to pill-popping western medicine), I am practicing daily new (to me) veggies and fruits concoctions to boost my immune system. Today’s experiment is a pinapple, ginger, cinnamon, topped with agave to aid fermenting drink – heck it tastes great so far and will produce a little “happy juice kick” (alcohol) for good measure and will be posted a later day.

Matcha Green Tea to help fight Covid 19

Suggested by Dr Gabriel Cousens, an American physician M.D. a homeopath and spiritual writer who practices holistic medicine, he states,

Dr. Cousens says: “Corona virus enters the cell via a vesicle called an endosome. Once inside, it releases an enzyme called 3CL (3-chymotrypsin-like protease). This enzyme attacks the cells’ defence mechanism against the coronavirus inhibitors.”

The herbal remedies are suggested to be able to destroy the 3CL and thus protect the cell’s ability to protect itself against the coronavirus. The best for destroying 3CL is quercetin and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which are found in green tea.

Ok… listen carefully guys! Matcha green tea, in fact, contains MUCH MORE epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) than regular green tea!

A relatively large quantity Quercetin can be found in raw white onion as for Matcha Green Tea, I definitely will be on the lookout at the grocery stores.

A ginger tea I make following safety tips from Covid 19 Doctor Negrin University

Folks, here is a tea I make to fight covid 19 caused mucus hardening (I’ve heard it being refer to as crystalizing from a medical practitioner) in the lung alveoli sacks. The mucus hardening prevents known medicines from working. There are a number of take-aways on the audio clip noting hospital personal observations. The notable one being to take hot liquids and foods throughout the day while avoiding cold liquids and foods.

These are the steps I take for a preventive morning tea:

Boil water in a drip coffee maker and keep it consistently drinkably hot in the large glass pot. To avoid burning down the house, I’ve opted to use the drip coffee maker to heat the water. Add Echinacea and Green Tea. Add a thin slice of ginger and let seep. Pour into a thermal cup, add a teaspoon of chia seeds and a lemon or lime (I include the pulp for maximum consumption), and for greater protection against upper respiratory infections you may opt to add honey. The thermal cup is essential to keep the tea hot considerably longer up to a few hours.

Place the remainder tea coffee pot in the refrigerator. When wanting a cup afterwards, I pour a cup full into a pot and then heat on the stove top to ensure the tea is at the very least moderately hot.

Ideally, your drip coffee maker, such as the Cuisinart DCC 3200, has a hot-plate temperature control otherwise to avoid overheating, it’s a good idea to switch off the unit after each pouring.

A quick search on ginger reveals:

Ginger can be used as a natural decongestant and antihistamine. Antiviral and antibacterial properties of ginger can help in easing congestion in the chest by drying out excess mucus and stimulating removal of its buildup. Drinking ginger tea for a few times in a day can help in eliminating excess mucus.

this is a picture of my typical lunch these days before mixing it into a mesh. it is way filling and the brain boost is amazing. upon hearing that phosphatidylcholine increased curcumin bioavailability, i started to washed down my turmeric dish with a glass of water having a mixed tablespoon of TWINLAB Choline Cocktail containing 375mg choline dihydrogen citrate. the flavors were definitely not complementary. i accidentally discovered a flavorful mix by adding a choline teaspoon to  a Rooibos tea sitting about. the powder contents of an Alpha GPC having 300mg of L-alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine.

regarding food as medicine, using a small amount of coconut oil, i cook up tofu which contains phosphatidylcholine and heat the turmeric brain sauce to activate the turmeric although the quercetin in the white onions and capers are diminished in quality so first toast the tofu cubes then add the turmeric brain sauce and lower the heat to the lowest stove level. for me as a male, this is an occasional once a week meal to avoid an estrogen increase.

day 3 of a 24/7 zen-like state of mind vegan diet

am on day 3 of a 24/7 induced zen-like state of mind vegan diet variation. my 12 year old niece handed me seven of these bands she created. hope to replace the expedient plastic bands with colorful hemp fibers. hope to earn a third today. the first day of a diet is always the hardest. having performed this diet twenty years ago with only lentil sprouts and water for thirty days, i knew at at the very least a 24/7 induced zen-like of mind begins on the third day. the bands are a helpful visual feel good reminder to keep to the diet. a Google Music subscription is playing a yoga meditation radio station. the absence of ads is peaceful. i’m feeling peaceful. it gets better as the days progress.

i’ll loose any sense of humor. a zen-like state places my mind to absorb news of tragic events without the twists and turns to humor. the later being like heat energy and the concomitant opportunity costs. in a zen-like state of mind, the minds eye becomes keenly aware of life forces and the law of attraction being a natural given, attention of the minds eye can translate to light energy.

this diet is an experiment to accentuate the effects of nootropics i’ve haphazardly discovered to date with a zen-like state of mind lentil diet experiment i lived twenty years ago.

Guarana to help alleviate a fear of public speaking?

Guaranasuppose you can take this anecdotally, it works for me and that’s the only evidence i have. i’m now trying to figure a schedule to consume Guarana 400mg to go along with my daily nootropics. by shear dumb luck after my San Diego AirBnb fellow roommate Greig handed me a few OTC supplements of Guarana, i discovered Guarana 400mg in particular helps to me to overcome a fear of public speaking. however, as a developer happy to be introvert, Guarana 400mg helped to deliver progress on daily morning team scrum meetings. Guarana at 200mg was barely below threshold. i’m on a vigil for some neuroscience news to back this up 🙂 but for now i’m running with it.

wow! things have changed the past decade when the only suggestions were typified by the response of a friend co-worker professor “take a shot of vodka” – i did just this on one contract site and it almost cost me the job from a performance hit especially as daily scrum meeting are early morning. a Google search for “medication fear public speaking” popped-out Inderal as a top forum favorite.

Propranolol (beta blocker) works great, has very little potential for abuse, is safe, and is inexpensive in the generic form. I use it a couple of times per year when I have to give a presentation. Works like a charm for me. Atenolol is another option and is very similar to Propranolol. a summary of nootropics and sustainable practices

inspired by a creative nootropic

i was excited this past week to experience a creative and energizing effect of Acetyl L-Carnotine / Alpha Lipoic Acid on Modafinil, it dawned on me to produce a summary of sustainable practices and nootropics as a living post to be elaborated later with references and rationals maybe a book as well.

the nootropic practices i’ve discovered for myself passed a tipping point a half year ago and i was hungry to discovery new nootropics (and foolish rides along with hungry). for example, this summary represents a refinement of creating cold brew coffee after weeks of experimentation. although five or so batches got drained straight into the sink, a few survived well.. a wow test. the cold brew coffee batches started with small two cups of produced quantity and has evolved to a large glass jar in the refrigerator holding a high quality smooth organic light brew that holds well for three weeks – coffee has never ever been this good plus i’ll later be exploring how to avoid molded coffee beans affecting over 50% of all coffees in the United States.

traveling the past nine months caused me to adopt new practices and drop others for example papaya is found readily in a city near the Mexican border but is expensive and less available otherwise let alone the rarity of finding an organic papaya. the practices below are on the farm only.
