day 7, a Flax, Chia, and Quinoa seeds cereal

day 7 try 2, weight: 165.0

a Flax, Chia, and Quinoa seeds cereal

this morning cereal came about as a reinvention of my original sprouts diet in 2000. the total sprouts per day was a mere half-cup. it was then that i truly became concerned my GI didn’t have a “critical mass” of foods to keep it busy. so to avoid any unforeseen GI issue, i’ve decided to add a high fiber cereal just to keep the GI humming along.

my cereal ingredients are a 1/4th cup of oats, one apple, one banana, 1/4th cup of boiled quinoa seeds, 1/8th cup ground flax seeds, and 1/8th cup chia seeds – all soaked in water. this selection of ingredients provides a hefty 14 grams of protein. soy milk with 32mg DHA was part of the original diet Try 1 Sprout and Turmeric Diet experiment. i really did want to lose weight so the soy was removed.

coffee and green tea before the cereal

i decided to remove coffee as part of the experiment beginning day 6 due to being too wired. this Sprout and Turmeric diet has a cleansing effect and even small amount of caffeine will have a strong effect. had my daily foods include bread, pancakes, chips, etc.. then the coffee is strong enough to counter the high carbs.

still day 1 to 5, it was critical for me to drink the coffee first thing in the morning simply because it is a diuretic and will wash out of the body any supplements like B12 vitamins. same with Green Tea even though its does not appear to have the strong effect of coffee.

completing projects with a Zen mind state

i’d like to believe a zen-like mind state can help to efficiently invest time into my many projects. i’ll reveal a few along the way. in particular, i’m building the BrainyLunch website to sell the Vegan Turmeric Sauce.
